THE SCAR / ARRET
THE SCAR is an animated documentary short film developed in the animation/documentary lab ANI:DOX LAB. The film is a personal story about ancestry, love and family secrets. In the film I dive into my family history and explore the root of all the secrecy in my family, my grandmother. The film talks about what it was like to grow up a jewish girl in Denmark during the Second World War, how having a career and being the mother of four in the 50’s put a strain on the marriage and how bitternes and regret of lost opportunities catch up with you in the end.
